Staffers on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. got together for a home-brewing competition.
25 staffers participated and 14 brews were produced. Brewers ranged from seasoned veterans who had produced many beers in the past to first-timers. Not all the brews were great, but some stood out and the winner got a trophy.
All coordinated by the Brewers Association, whose lobbyists had encountered a variety of homebrewers already working the halls of congress.
It’s about time beer got back into politics! If beer can’t bring people together nothing can.
