The Colorado State Senate and the State House of Representatives are actively making beers. Not only are they in league with the Global Beer Industrial Complex, but they are also doing the actual work themselves. This blatant publicity stunt has the House making one brew and the Senate making a different one, with the help of actual brewers, since… well, obviously, most politicians can’t handle anything so complex as making beer by themselves. The 2 brews are then tasted by the regular beer drinking public at the annual Great American Beer Festival in Denver. Tastees vote on which one they prefer and the winner gets some kind of trophy or something.
Clearly, this indicates that the entire political apparatus of the state of Colorado has succumbed to the lure of Beer! Granted, it is small-batch micro-brews, which are generally tastier than the suds produced by the multi-national corporate beer czars, but it’s still politics in the pocket of the Beer industry.
