Staffers on capitol Hill in Washington D.C. got together for a home-brewing competition.

25 staffers participated and 14 brews were produced.  Brewers ranged from seasoned veterans who had produced many beers in the past to first timers.  Not all the brews were great, but some stood out and the winner got a trophy.

All coordinated by the Brewers Association, whose lobbyists had encountered a variety of home brewers already working the halls of congress.

It's about time beer got back into politics!  If beer can't bring people together nothing can.
